Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented MS SQL Database Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the performance, integrity, availability, and security of our SQL Server databases, while supporting business operations and IT initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain SQL Server database systems.
• Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance with policies.
• Monitor database performance and recommend optimizations for efficiency.
• Develop, test, and implement backup and recovery strategies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless data flow across systems.
• Plan and forecast future database capacity and requirements.

Required Experience & Skills

• Proven experience in SQL Server Database Administration (2005, 2008, 2012, 2016).
• Strong proficiency in SQL and database management concepts.
• Knowledge of server architecture, clustering, and high availability (HA/DR) solutions.
• Hands-on experience with SSIS packages, scripting (T-SQL, PowerShell, or Shell scripting).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to forecast and plan for future system/database requirements.
